I have a hard time believing it's been forty years since our graduation from PHS. At seventeen, I remember being so anxious to leave; so anxious to be independent and see what life was like outside of Jackson. Now, I look back and realize there was so much I under-appreciated, and so many people I wish I had known a bit better. That's the beauty of being older: we can better appreciate our life experiences and live life a bit deeper...with more patience than we had in our youth.
I am unable to attend the reunion in August, but I really do wish I could be there to reconnect with some of you and hear some of the many stories that make up our collective "history". Peace.
